I called an IO today at Texas.
Last week they told me that due to glitch they never printed my fp notice.
The IO I talked to then, said that she was going to generate one and mailed to me.
I talked to another lady today and she said that notice was mailed last Thursday! She told me my appointment is on July 26 at 9:00 am but I dont have the NOA yet.... I dont know what to do I dont want to miss my appointment
The lady said she will sent another one today..... I hope I get it, please let me know if you guys have any advice

H1B LUDs may be due to PIMS data collection, I heard most of the H1Bs approved after Jan 2004 had LUDs and the status did not change; and 140 could be a regular system touch.

I got Soft LUD on all H1 and i-140 few weeks back. and last week i got Soft LUD I-485 its sec soft LUD on I-485

With GC process bound to take long, staying at the same place to avoid changing address may be a big challenge.
Has anybody considered using PO box for address on I-485? My lawyer did not allow me to use PO box during July 2 filing.
Will it be possible to go online and change to PO box address for I-485?
Does INS has any issues in sending GC to po box address?
I don't think that's possible. USCIS wants a physical address where you stay and will not deliver mail to PO box. In fact there is no forwarding of documents sent by USCIS too. They are all returned to USCIS.
This issue I think originates from the fact that USCIS wants to know where all aliens are physically staying.
I wanted to have a PO box to avoid any issues with mail theft and my lawyer said its not possible.
Anything different coming from your lawyer would be welcome.

Here is my question. In my college days bacd in the early 90's and mid 90's, I used to work and worked with my original Social secuirty number. Another words, I was given pay checks. I paid taxes and got refunds as well. Obviouslly all illegal since I had no permission to work as I was on FI visa. Anyways, after graduating college, I got H1b visa. Now I am in my 9th year, and my labor and I140 have already been approved. So the question is, when I am called for my 485 interview, will they know that i worked illegally, will they have records of that. I also have a DWI. I think DWI is ok, as I have read many got their green cards after this. I am more concerned with my working illegally.
Just recentlly I was sued by Discover card. The judgement against me in teh court was for 10,000 +. I have paid half of it and will pay the rest in 6 months. Will that affect my Green Card.
Please eloborate.

There shouldn't be any issues. The H1 visa stamp on your passport is seperate from the I-797 approval that you received, both are valid. Your wife should also have no problems getting an H4 using your current I-797. I had a freind recently who was in the exact same situation and he and his wife both didn't have any issues.

I believe filing CPT and working on CPT till EAD (if filed with 485) arrives in hand should not affect pending I-485 at all.

I have a curious situation. I have filed EB3-485 as a secondary applicant to my wife. I am currently in a job where I can't file a green card ( this is my 5th year of H1b). My understanding is one can't have a seventh year extension for H1b unless his I-140 is approved.
Should I consider changing the job and filing another GC by myself. I know I can continue renewing EAD but I still want to keep my H1b

What if the case is where I want to take up a new full time position and convert my current full time position to part time.....I guess one way to do it would be to transfer H1 to the new employer...wait for an approval and then file for another concurrent H1 for the part time job with the old company..But the problem is I'd have to wait until new approval comes...and also convince both companies to shell out 2k plus in filing fees....does any one have a better alternative ? Thanks again

Website will contain:
-photo gallery (photos provided)
-video clips (videos provided)
-community member profiles
-membership "join" form
-graphic effects
-guest book
-music/sound effects
-a lot of animation and graphic motion
The site will be formatted a little differently from normal sites, so be ready for a long explanation when you contact me. It's going to be a personal website and I have a fairly low budget. This is not true.. First time H4 when the dependant is on in US will NOT have I797. They just go to consulate with spouse's H1B to get H4 Stamped. I-797 for H4 will be received when H4 is extended with H1 here in US. That is what we also have and I have done 3 extensions/stamping for H1/H4 already with no issues
You said she got a H4 stamp when she first came to the US based on your H1B. That could not be true. She must had a I-797 approval notice of her H4.
