MS+0 works fine for EB2. Couple of my friends have got GC through this qualification only.They were B.Tech Computer Science + Master Computer Science (US)

Politely: I think that my time can be better spent distributing fliers. My time is limited, if I attend this I won't have much time to distribute fliers. So unless someone convinces me why this is more important I won't be attending.
The event is mainly to bolster the attendance for the Rally and also give the community an opportunity to interact with other community members to discuss mobilization plans and campaigns.
While few members are highly informed on all these things, a lot of members will have basic questions.
Distributing flyers is good, we we must continue to do that - these flyers must be distributed at strategic locations otherwise there is not much use. The locations would include highly populated skilled workers areas like Jersey and NYC where thousands of tech workers are affected by retrogression and also universities where students who graduate will face the quota issues when they look for their first job.

There is no such thing as a transfer - every petition is a new petition.
In your case, you can be exempt from being counted in the yearly cap if your I-140 has been approved. While filing the petition, your new company will have to attach a copy of the approved I-140, or prove that your I-140 has been approved.

My question is if I can apply for a new H1-B thru a new company in the US now, instead of a transfer? I have a valid reason for doing that. Do let me know.

I checked with my immigration attorney about this situation anticipating job change few days ago. According to him one can enter as long as s/he can show new H1B approval notice provided the old H1B visa is still valid (not expired).
As always, we can express our own interpretation, and its always a good idea to contact an immigration attorney to get specific answers.

This is a problem. When we try to keep the forums clean, people complain and talk about 'freedom of speech' and that moderators act like dictators. They go and talk rubbish about IV elsewhere.
When we are flexible and allow people to express, people start complaining about abusive comments and posts.
One anonymous user commenting against other anonymous user is hardly of any consequence. To come to IV or not come to IV is your decision. Remember IV is not about forum or red dots or green dots. It is a platform for everyone to meet and work towards fixing the system. If a person is committed to the cause, he would not be bothered by any distraction.

- Per my LCA; combination of education and experience is not acceptable. Does that mean my evaluation is of no use? And is this LCA good for me?
Its going to be very hard trying to evaluate a 3 year degree to a 4 year BSCS. You can atleast talk with the person recommended by CPUwiz and see what she thinks...
- If evaluation is using 6yrs of experience to make up for 2yrs of education; CAN I, still (also) show the same 6yrs of experience as job experience?
I doubt if this double dipping is going to work...
- I have another approved RIR (Approved Aug07). In worst case, can I use that RIR to file for new 140 to save my 485? Is there any time limit on RIR case too? Like using it under number of weeks/months?[/COLOR]
LCs expire 180 days after their approval, so you have until Feb next year with this LC. However from what I know you need an approved I-140 to interfile with an existing 485 case. dont know if you can interfile an I-140 which is still pending. talk to a good immigration attorney.

I am pretty sure we are in the last state but I will check that and make sure when I get home tonight. We have filled out forms called Packet III and sent them in. I was told that we are waiting for a gereen card number available so we can get a consular processing date. And I tried calling immigration couple time with our case number starting ANK...(for Turkey).I was told by them our case was approved too...

Why do you want to spent $2000 for lawyer for AC21? If you have same or similar offer letter, why cant you type a simple covering letter for your AC21?Do it yourself. US certified post cost around $2.00. Hiring lawyer for AC21 is waste of money.

Yes you can say you didnt join them . Again, of all the cases i have heard , people at POE hasnt created any issue for H4 Re-entry.please take a one time appt with any good immigration att. so that you dont have to worry
